History of WMA in Botswana

In 1963 American Missionaries, Jim and Mary Nipp of World Missionary Association came to Botswana and started the up the Church of God Mission. The Headquarters is in the village of Maun in the Northwestern Province of Botswana. Many of the children they taught are now the leaders of the Church today.

WMA's Vision for Botswana

World Missionary Association's overall vision for Botswana is to help in different ways ( spiritually, physically and with educational needs) when and where God opens doors.

To reach the youth of Botswana for Christ - they are dying at an alarming rate because of the deadly HIV virus.

To help with physical needs - orphans, widows, famine relief, etc...

To assist with work teams and finances to help build youth centers, churches, schools and clinics.

To facilitate the training of Pastors and youth leaders interdenominationally as needed.

"See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not preceive it?  I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."  Isa. 43:19
